About

The inspired Within is a creative-led project intersecting analogue creative practises, mindfulness and social impact.

What started as something deeply personal became something bigger. Born in 2020 and established in 2021, The Inspired Within grew out of the pandemic, as a way of making sense of the world through surrealist collage art.

Then, art became a vehicle for real change. Through an initiative connecting creativity with social impact, The Inspired Within supported families in need in Brazil and in doing so, proved what art can actually do and that experience shaped everything.

Today, The Inspired Within is built around one belief: to keep creating, sharing, and inviting others to discover how art can be tool for change. And you’re welcome to be part of it.

Hi, I’m Sue Morais

As the founder of TIW, my mission is to continue creating art and experiences where creativity becomes a tool for connection, self-expression and mindfulness.

With over a decade of experience in the creative industry across Brazil and Australia, I combine my experience with passion for artistic expression, teaching, and social impact.

As a mixed media artist working primarily with analogue collage, I believe in the power of creating with hands, where intuition gave me the ability to express my inner world, without guidelines or the pressure to be “right”. My art is where I can be free to express whatever feels right and through The Inspired Within I invite people to experience the same.

20 tons of food, providing essential meals for families in need across 4 different states in Brazil.
